An official statement from the municipal government, issued late Sunday, was reported 25 people being drowned, six died from the collapse of their homes, a citizen killed by lightning and five electrocuted by transmission lines energy.
China Daily, official organ of the country, reported Monday that rain and flooding caused damage estimated at 10 billion yuan ($ 1.6 billion) and 60,000 people were evacuated from their homes.
