Astronomers have discovered with the Hubble Space Telescope a fifth moon orbiting the dwarf planet Pluto in our solar system, announced Wednesday, July 11 NASA. This moon, visible in the Hubble images as a spot of light, apparently irregularly shaped and measure 10 to 25 km in diameter. It is a circular orbit of 95,000 kilometers in diameter around Pluto.

The galaxy at the center of a new image contains an X-ray source, CID-42, with exceptional properties. After combining data from several telescopes -- including NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory -- researchers think that CID-42 contains a massive black hole being ejected from its host galaxy at several million miles per hour.
