Today India will share a detailed report on 26/11 plotter Abu Jundal’s links with his henchmen in Pakistan on the first day of foreign secretary level talks scheduled to begin today in Delhi.
During the talks, the Indian side is also expected to hand over copies of the Pakistani passport and Pakistan’s domestic identity cards issued to Jundal in the name of Riyasat Ali to the visiting delegation- indicating the involvement of its state agencies in the Mumbai attacks that took place in 2008. India will provide these documents to Pakistan as a direct proof that Jundal had state help.
India will also renew its demand for voice samples of the 26/11 accused that could bolster Jundal’s testimony, according to a report. The government is also expected to push once again for Pakistan to speed up its 26/11 trial and pursue suspected mastermind Hafiz Saeed.
Kashmir is also set to figure prominently, with Pakistani Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani already having met Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani at the Pakistani embassy on Tuesday.....
