Google was awaited the turning. After the surprise announcement last week, the launch of Microsoft Surface tablets, the Internet group could not remain a spectator of the battle being prepared on the market shelves. Google unveiled its Nexus 7 tablet at its developers conference in San Francisco, where the company gave details of its latest version of Android, nicknamed Jelly Bean, which improves major components such as touch, search, notifications and Google Maps.
It offers a more intuitive mobile search services and operator voice recognition, while being more responsive and fluid to use.
With it, Google may challenge both the Apple iPad and Kindle Fire, Amazon. Like the latter, the tablet Google, equipped with a 7 inch screen, will be sold at $ 199. It goes on sale in the U.S., Britain, Canada and Australia in mid—July, Google said.
The Nexus 7 is also linked to the platform Google Play – the equivalent of iTunes from Apple – which Google claims 600,000 applications and games. Through this platform users can purchase/download movies, MP3s and TV shows.
